Summer Bishil

Summer Bishil (born June 15, 1985) is an American actor best well-known for her character Margo in 'The Magicians,' a Syfy drama series about fantasy that ran between 2015 and the present. Prior to that, she was acclaimed as the character of the 13-year-old girl from Lebanon, Jasira Maroun who goes through emotional and traumatic experiences against the backdrop the U.S. invasion of Iraq during the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film , 'Towelhead'. Her character was then selected as one of 'Variety's 10 Actors to Watch' in 2007. For the film Crossing Over she played Taslima Jhangir. In addition, she was nominated in the Independent Spirit Award category for 'Best female lead'. In addition to starring in a number of movies, such as Mooz-lum, The Last Airbender, Pop Star and ?Under the Silver Lake', she has acted as guest on several TV series as well as played regular roles in numerous other movies.
