Annie Mist Thorisdottir is from Reykjavik in Iceland. She co-owns Crossfit Reykjavik where she also coaches and trains. Annie is the only woman to have ever won two CrossFit Games. She finished second both in the year 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter athlete and media celebrity. Her fame was boosted by her being the first woman to have taken home twice at the CrossFit Games, in 2011 as well as 2012 Other accomplishments include securing Dubai Fitness Championships in 2013 and 2013. Annie was born and brought to Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and siblings. She enjoyed playing sports and worked out from the age of five. In 2009, she participated in CrossFit events in California. Her initial performances were impressive. Annie Thorisdottir in 2021, was age 31. Her height is 5'7" and her weight is approximately the 67-kg mark. Annie was the first to start CrossFit in California, in 2009. She was successful in her first games, finishing within the top 10 in the rankings. However, she was unable to make it to the top of the event and finished it with a ranking of 11. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Annie placed 2nd at CrossFit Games in 2010 under Jami's guidance. The following year she was a participant with Jami Tikkanen in CrossFit Games and won them thanks to her outstanding performances. She became the first woman to ever be the winner of CrossFit Games. Annie was again victorious at in the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her outstanding performance. She was the first female athlete to win the two CrossFit Games at once. In 2014, Annie received a Silver medal and most recently in 2021 she won Bronze in CrossFit Games. Annie coaches and train with her team at Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. Annie's rising recognition as a professional athlete has led her to become the face of many sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Nuunhydration and Periodization Sidekicks Yerb. Her own Youtube channel, which is named "Annie" and has more than 1,000 viewers. It is the channel the channel where she posts videos on the diet of her training, life with family and traveling.
