Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a writer, singer, and actress in America for more than 40 years. Her most well-known role is because of her portrayal as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV series Gilligan's Island). In the 1950s, she began her career as an actress on stage in Bettle Davis' musical Two's Company. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions, before becoming famous in the national stage area with Li'l abner's in the year 1957. The singer also released her debut album, titled It's Time to Tina that same year. Louise started with her Hollywood career in 1958, in which she portrayed Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre, a film that was dramatic. It was an enormous hit and Louise was awarded her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. She was enrolled at Actors Studio, New York during this period and became Lee Strasberg's pupil. Her next role that she portrayed was Ginger Grant, which CBS hired her for in 1964. Louise was a success in Hollywood and Broadway, playing somber characters to counter her image of glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Sanctuary, although she was an accomplished television director on several series including Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on August 28, 1965. Her family later moved to Toronto for her childhood. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver in Canada following her choice for the lead role.
